Does this sound good? (for young adults mostly)?

It sounds good, but I had to read "And you did not know about those terms when asked if you would like to be normal again, you didn’t know how terrible life could get even after you thought it couldn’t get any worse" a couple times to understand it - I think it's a run-on. Otherwise, it's good. :) And if you do get it published, your summary will most likely be edited by professionals in the process, so don't sweat it.
